What visa do I need to enter Russia?

This is the recommended option for its flexibility during the 4-month processing period. All other eligible nationalities (UK, Canada, Australia, EU, Japan, South Korea, Norway, Switzerland, New Zealand, and others): the Shared Values single-entry private visa under Decree № 702, applied for at the Russian consulate in your country of citizenship or permanent residence. Critical note: the single-entry visa means border runs during processing are not possible — plan your entire in-Russia timeline within the single entry. Do I need to speak Russian?
No — and the course is designed around that reality. The TRP pathway under Decree № 702 explicitly exempts applicants from Russian language examinations.
